Mahindra Thar is on a frequent high. Mahindra who had promised the Thar in more states soon, have also launched the Thar in Kerala. The Thar BS-IV will be priced at Rs 6.1 lakhs and the BS-III will be charged at Rs 4.33 lakhs in Kerala (Ex-Showroom). The Thar was originally launched in Mumbai, Delhi, Kolata, Bangalore, Chandigarh, Jaipur, Kochi and Mangalore. Mahindra and Mahindra have promised that they will be introducing the Thar in the rest of the nation state by this month end. Mr Behram Dhabher, GM, Mahindra Kerala said that “The Thar aims to perform a important position in shaping the lifestyle vehicle segment both in urban and rural India. Customers are looking for a different standard of life as they seek adventure and a fun experience which the vehicle will offer. The Thar is a manual 4x4 mechanism joined with a powerful CRDe 105 BHP engine and driven by wire technology, that is capable of providing it variable speeds and acceleration. To handle this excess power, Thar CRDe's tough rigid ladder frame chassis has been optimised to allow crisp handling.”
