Google's contextual ad program, Adsense, is perhaps the most trusted and easiest program to get started with on your sites. You will find that Adsense pays the most as a contextual ad provider, and also people obviously recognize and feel comfortable using it. Obviously the most important aspect and key to success is market selection plus traffic volume. You do need to be extremely careful when dealing with Adsense because you can very easily have your account terminated for the seemingly slightest reason. Naturally, you would want to know how you can have peace of mind and stay away from trouble.

One thing you must never do is include Adsense ads in emails sent to your list, or anywhere else. So always remember that your ads can only be served to your sites and nowhere else in any manner. If you are just driven to use email marketing and Adsense, then the simple solution is to drive your list traffic to a website/blog with Adsense being served up.

When you get your ad blocks in place, be extremely careful that you do not call any special attention to the ads. Implementing Adsense is very easy because you merely put their Adsense code, that you should never modify, into your page HTML, and you are all set to start making money. So you just need to be concerned with proper placement and making your ads blend in properly. Google takes the view that you are interfering with normal clicks, and they interpret that as fraudulent clicks. This situation is easy to avoid by simply applying the Adsense code and moving on.

You cannot, or should not, set and forget your Adsense account because you need to keep an eye on something called, click through rate. The point with this is if any CTR on a site moves up above the industry average which is roughly 1-5% CTR. For instance, if you find a CTR that's 20% then there's definitely click-fraud going on, that you need to stop. This is the kind of mischievous activity that you need to keep track of at all times, since you obviously don't want to have your account disabled for no fault of yours.

Just simply abide by their terms of service, and you can have a great experience. You should also know that they have some of the most unforgiving people working for them, and it is impossible to achieve any kind of forgiveness if you violate their terms. So simply do what they want, and you hopefully will earn well using their Adsense program.
