This is a very simple mistake that you can easily avoid, but many advertisers have no knowledge about it, and believe they're actually doing the right thing by helping the user. Your aim with Google AdSense is to earn a long term income without any kind of interruptions, which is why you should try to keep in mind even the smallest aspects that may put your account at risk.

Your two primary concerns with Adsense are keeping your account, and then making the appropriate steps to make money with it. It makes more sense to take a few measures, rather than have all your earnings disappear overnight along with your disabled account.
