Get-togethers that have frozen o'deuvres, bottled beer, boxed up wine, without any music, and all the lights on would not make a very fantastic festive occasion at all. There are rules for entertaining proficient food, good drinks, and ambience.

Even casual parties need to serve fresh food. Serving finger foods is a clever idea this is because there are no utensils used so there is less of a clean up afterwards. Serve the food on trays this way there will be enough so you will not need to run back and fourth from the kitchen. You also need to enjoy your festivity.

Bear in mind to never serve beer in cans. Wine needs to always be bought in bottles. It should not cost you an arm and a leg even though it doesn't come from a box. It is always a proper idea to have several liquor in the house anyhow, just in case you have guests drop by that like to have a drink or two.

The ambience is made up of three main things; music, lighting, and beautification. Every festive occasion needs to have some music. If there is proficient music then there might be some dancing, parties are always better if there is some dancing. With the lights on nobody will even think about dancing. A dimmer switch should be considered if you plan on having more then one celebration a year.

The table with the finger foods and the liquor will probably be the focal point so pretty it up with several flowers and a table cloth. If it is a theme social gathering then decorate accordingly. There is no need for anything tacky, just flowing enhancements.

You should have no reason to not stop and talk with your guests. Enjoy everything that you have created and enjoy your guests.
