Here's a glimpse about this brand new TV series: In Human Target Season 2 Episode 12. Based on the DC Comics title, the show centers on Christopher Chance (Mark Valley), a mysterious freelancer who offers an unique form of security for hire: He assumes the identities of people in danger, becoming the "human target" on behalf of his clients.

Fox Network's action drama series, Human Target is all set to enthrall its fans with a fresh pack of thrill-filled incidents. The two new episodes of the show have already created much hoopla on online entertainment portals. Diehard action lovers are on tenterhooks to not just know the upcoming events, but also to make sure that nothing goes unheeded as soon as the new episodes are released.

The series follows the life of San Francisco-based Christopher Chance (Mark Valley), an unique private contractor, bodyguard and security expert hired to protect his clients. Rather than taking on the target's identity himself (as in the comic book version), he protects his clients by completely integrating himself into their lives, to become a "human target". Chance is accompanied by his business partner Winston (Chi McBride) and hired gun Guerrero (Jackie Earle Haley). Former client Ilsa Pucci (Indira Varma) becomes Chance's benefactor, while experienced thief Ames (Janet Montgomery) joins the team to seek redemption. Chance puts himself on the line to find the truth behind the mission. Even his own business partner Winston doesn't know what drove him towards this life.

Christopher Chance starred in a limited series, an one-shot, and then an ongoing Human Target series written by Peter Milligan and published under DC's Vertigo imprint.

Christopher Chance was introduced to audiences as the secondary star of DC Comics' Action Comics, where he served in assorted back-up features while the title's primary focus remained on the character of Superman. Chance would go on to appear in a variety of other DC productions, including (along with a slew of other DC gumshoes) in a special story, "The 'Too Many Crooks...' Caper", in the 500th issue of Detective Comics.



In November 1991, prior to the show's debut, Chance appeared in his own book, a 48-page one-shot titled The Human Target Special #1, an ostensible tie-in to the television show (the cover advertised that it was "Coming soon to ABC-TV!"), in which Chance and his cohorts protected a DEA agent from harm. It was written by Mark Verheiden, with pencils by Rick Burchett and inks by Dick Giordano.
