The Real Housewives of Atlanta is an American reality television series on the Bravo cable network that premiered in the fall of 2008.

The show revolves around women in the Atlanta metropolitan area juggling their home, social and business lives.

The show replaces Hartwell with new cast members Cynthia Bailey, a former model, and entertainment attorney Phaedra Parks-a close friend of unofficial housewife Dwight Eubanks. Parks is supposedly already under fire. She's married to a younger man who's in prison.

Original cast mates NeNe Leakes, Sheree Whitfield, Kim Zolciak, and Kandi Burruss will pick up where season 2 left off.

And NeNe and Kim will team up against Phaedra for, we don't know, something deliciously ridiculous. We confess, we're eating up every bit of it. Well, at least until a real scripted series with authentic actresses returns to the small screen.

It seems that the increased money demands of these two may eject them right out of their reality seats and end their 15+ minutes of fame.

They may be fan favorites, but the antics produced by NeNe and Kim, including verbal and physical sparring keep people tuned in and talking.

EW has exclusively learned that Bravo will officially add two new housewives to the cast for its third season of The Real Housewives of Atlanta, which is set to premiere on Oct. 4 at 9 p.m. ET. The network will make the announcement this afternoon. As you can see from the first-look cast photo above, NFL wife Lisa Wu Hartwell went the way that DeShawn Snow did after season one-she's no longer a full-fleged cast member.

Phaedra Parks: This friend of Dwight and Kandi's is an entertainment lawyer-specifically, the managing partner of an Atlanta-based boutique firm that works with entertainers and athletes. She's a self-proclaimed "Southern Belle," and does charity, which is a hallmark of the Housewives franchise.

AJ, and try to rebuild a relationship with her cancer-stricken father; and Shere? will pursue acting-she claims to want to win an Oscar one day! Which means she enlists an acting coach. Good luck with that!

This week's Real Housewives of Atlanta is drama, drama, drama. Things are getting tense on the bus tour with Kandi, Kim and their two assistants. Kim wants to stop for smoke breaks but the rest of the bus is getting annoyed that it is taking too long to get anywhere.

It's pretty obvious that NeNe is annoyed that Kim thinks she is a rock star.

Peter says he regrets telling Cynthia, but come on! It was her money too! And now the wedding has to potentially be changed because of budget problems.

NeNe is trying to give her pointers for her show, but Kim doesn't want the advice. Kandi is annoyed that Kim and NeNe are on the bus taking over. NeNe makes fun of the strip mall club they perform in, and the fact that Kim lip synchs and it's like karaoke.

Eventually, it goes into how Kim treats Sweetie, and how Kim is second best and knows it. Kim then calls her an intern at 11 Alive..which is kind of funny..and sets NeNe off about Kim being a dumb blonde blah blah blah..

Overall, could this possibly be a classier, less wig-ripping season of Atlanta? With the addition of the "Southern Belle" Phaedra and model Cynthia, seems like we're headed toward less trashy territory.
