The Indian tea is the epitome of taste, happiness and warmth. Tea is the most essential part of almost everybody's life. It is the most widespread beverage across India and some other parts of the world too. India is one of the largest producer of tea in the world. The Indian tea industry has grown to own many global tea brands, and has evolved to one of the most technologically equipped tea industries in the world.

India has many tea plantations, from the valley in Assam and Darjeeling in the north east, to the south-western regions of the country on the Nilgiri hills. Every tea regions of India can be characterized for producing unique taste and aromatic tea leaves. You can find variety of teas such as white tea leaf, black tea, green tea or organic tea.

Assam Tea: Assam tea is manufactured from the plant " Camellia sinensis var.assamica". The tea can be distinguished for its malty taste, briskness and dark color. Although, Assam denotes distinctive black teas from Assam, the region also produces smaller quantities of green and white teas too.

Nilgiri Tea: Nilgiri tea is usually known for it's bright as well as powerful aromatic aroma. This flavorful tea is planted in the southern part of Western Ghats mountains of Southern India. The tea is generally grown in the hills of the Nilgiris district of Tamil Nadu. Nilgiris teas are mild, bright and brisk with light clean flavors.

Darjeeling Tea: Darjeeling tea is well acknowledged to be the finest tea since its flavor is so unique that it cannot be replicated. The tea is normally made from the small-leaved Chinese variety of Camellia sinensis var, sinensis. It is the most expensive tea in the world. No wonder, it is known as Champagne of teas.

In today's scenario, Indian tea has taken an important place in the international beverage market. It has also been the blenders choice for more than 100 years for its finest quality or consistency.

Hence, Indian tea is the most exotic teas not only in India but across the world as it is drank by millions of people.
