You don't have to give up all the foods you're used to eating to become more healthy and to start eating raw, organic and live foods. Do you realize the best place to begin to change your diet? It is at the place where you get your food, the grocery store. If you're at a desirable weight and fairly healthy, it's still a good idea to take a tip from experienced dieters. Go shopping with a list and don't go to the grocery store hungry. Make sure this shopping trip you can resist those cookies and potato chips. If you are hungry when you go shopping, you will be far more likely to purchase foods that won't be good for you. I had to learn this lesson first when I was learning how to lose weight.
Remove all the junk food from you current food supply. Discard all the junk and snack foods you have accumulated. Put any microwaveable foods in a dark bag and stash them somewhere in the back of the freezer. Getting this food out of site will reduce your temptation to consume it frequently. The types of food that are readily available for you to consume can make a huge difference in your ability to lose weight. When we are hungry, we naturally reach for the first food source that is available. If nutritious and wholesome foods are readily available, that is what you are likely to consume!
Its a good idea to have an ample supply of nuts and dried fruits to snack on. When these types of foods are readily available, it will make it much easier to adhere to your diet. A big road block to weight loss, is not having a supply of the right foods available when we need them. Give your kitchen a transformation from a junk food haven to a nutritious foods haven. Buy a good juicer. Prepare the drawers in your refrigerator so that they are ready to be filled with raw and organic food.
Fill your shopping cart with whole grains, fresh fruits, vegetables, and nuts. Stock up on some fresh fish and grain fed beef, if you can't give up on beef altogether. Or alternatively, buy some grain fed beef, which is a much better alternative to conventional beef. These changes won't result in quick weight loss, but rather, they will allow you to steadily lower your weight and solidify the losses you have already attained.
Make your new diet enjoyable. Go out and purchase some sushi platters. It's easier to arrange small portions of different foods that way. The new serving platters you have purchased will be a symbolic reminder of your new dietary habits. Get some good chopsticks so you can take your time eating. You may have some fun with this!
Go to a bookstore and get a cookbook or a food book so you can learn about eating raw foods. Buy a big vase and a bunch of sunflowers to symbolize letting the sun into your diet.
