Luckily, for people who desire raw and organic foods, there are now numerous choices available. In the past organic and raw foods could only be found in natural food stores, which were sometimes hard to find. While not as ubiquitous as McDonald's, there are many more stand alone stores. Today, even most grocery stores carry organic and raw foods. If the store you go to doesn't have any, ask, they may be prompted to start carrying some. It is probable, that other customers will request organic foods as well. Organic and raw foods will assist you with your quick weight loss diet because your body will obtain the nutrients it needs with fewer calories and no toxins.
Food that is grown or raised without chemical pesticides or chemical fertilizers is called "organic". We've become so accustomed to getting by with foods that have been grown with fertilizers and that contain harmful toxins, that we've forgotten what it's like to feel truly well. We have no idea how much better we can feel.
For what other reasons should you select organic foods? The cost in terms of lost nutrients and flavor is high if you don't eat organic, even though non-organic foods may have a better appearance. It is true that organic foods sometimes appear bruised, but that can be try for food sprayed with chemicals as well. Organic food, though, is generally fresher and more flavorful. Many times, they're grown locally, so they haven't been stored or refrigerated. Compare the flavor of a local, vine ripened tomato, compared to one that is transported to you from far away. It is clear which one will taste better.
The human body must digest all foods you consume and eliminate that which is not digestible. If your food contains toxins in the form of chemical pesticides and fertilizers, your body has to figure out a way to get rid of the toxins. When your body cannot metabolize toxic chemicals fast enough, they are stored. This build up of toxins can have an adverse effect upon you. These toxic chemicals generally get stored in fat cells, making these cells more difficult to eliminate and making it harder to attain rapid weight loss.
Also, pesticides and other toxic chemicals are frequently cancer causing. Reducing your exposure to these toxins can improve your health. Certainly, some people are more sensitive to these toxic chemicals that others. Nonetheless, your liver and kidneys need to work harder to rid the body of toxins, and could operate much more efficiently without them. Even people who can tolerate or eliminate toxins could feel substantially better without putting these poisons into their bodies. And if your system is sensitive to toxins, you'll be much better off eliminating them from your diet as much as possible.
