Tight foreskin or phimosis is a condition where the foreskin of an uncircumcised penis cannot be retracted over the glans. It can cause physical discomfort, straining during urination, thin stream of urine, pain during intercourse, infections, paraphimosis. There may be a feeling of frustration or embarrassment about having tight foreskin.
About 1.5% of men suffer with tight foreskin and many more are putting up with it. Tight foreskin could be the result of failure to loosen foreskin during growth, infections such as balinitis, and deformities caused by trauma. There could be many other reasons why a person has this condition, but a lot of it has to do with how men are born.
When it came to my personal case, I was more concerned about finding the solution rather than looking for the cause. I knew that finding the cause was probably not going to solve my phimosis. In the back of my head, I knew circumcision would solve it immediately. However, going through this procedure as an adult would be painful and require significant recovery time.
I thought that circumcision was the only thing that could treat this condition until I heard about alternative phimosis treatments that involved stretching. I looked through health forums and found some suggestions for stretching tight foreskin. I spent the next 2 years trying, but failed with these free methods. In the end, I discovered new stretching methods that worked and was able to fully retract in a fraction of the time.
This experience showed that there were possible alternatives to circumcision. However, it was important to find stretching techniques that were effective and tested to be safe. If you try to retract before you are ready, you may experience paraphimosis and cause the glans to become swollen. This can result in sharp ripping pain and cause your glans to turn darker colors.
Some stretching techniques can take too much time to do every day. This is why it is important to find something that you can do consistently. Stretching should be done daily to experience lasting results. You can stop when you are satisfied with the results.
