Depending on your views Home Baking is either an extremely rewarding, satisfying and imaginative use of your spare time or a complete waste of time effort and money!

We obviously take the view that time spent in the Kitchen equals time having fun!

Baking for your kids can be a rewarding experience for your family and gives some rare moments spent with the children showing them tips, discussing family recipes and teaching them basic kitchen skills for future kitchen safety and enjoyment (not to mention getting them away from the TV for an hour or so with their undivided attention) Given the amount of baking sets, cookie cutters, cupcake moulds and recipes available then there’s plenty to keep the kids busy all year. Next time your shopping for a present for Granny get the Children's Baking Sets out, Bake a cake and see the smile you get when your cutest hands over the cake tin.

Baking with teenagers is also a great way of spending quality one on one time with your older kids and given the current craze with cupcakes why not invest in a giant cupcake mould which is great for either a Saturday night family treat or a great novelty birthday cake. They're fun, cheap and easy to make, wash and store.

Whatever you preference when it comes to Home Baking there's a gift, gadget or tool to suit every age and taste bud and there’s great satisfaction seeing your cake stand used as the centrepiece to a family gathering.

Baking is Fun!
