In case your child has set their heart on getting a pony party, here are a few things to consider before you decide to dive right in and invite a handful of ponies to your house. IT is not just as simple as welcoming he ponies to the party and hoping everything will go well.

Ponies can be skittish. It's not advisable to have a jumping castle or other large noisy things floating around at the pony party, they might scare the ponies and also cause a mishap.

Hire a professional. There are a lot of people who have a pony or two in their backyard and elect to hire them out for pony parties but do not really know very well what to do or the best way to handle the children.

Lock away the dogs. Not everyone's pets are accustomed to seeing ponies inside their yard. If the dogs should bite a pony, you'll find yourself with a kicked dog and also possibly a vets bill for that pony's injuries as well. The pony's vet bill is usually much larger than a dog's would be.

Warn the parents. Note everyone like ponies and some parents might not want their child being exposed to the potential of getting kicked, especially if they have had a bad experience themselves.

If you choose to have a pony party for your child, take care to hire a professional and to ensure that you meet their requirements. Furthermore warn the parents so there aren't any nasty surprises and distressed mothers.
