Why Is It Good?

What is the value? First, one-way links. The more people who bookmark your article, the more back links it has. The more backlinks it has, the higher position it receives in organic search. Second, depending on the bookmarking site, your web page can obtain more immediate visitors from it. That's mainly because on some sites, the more people who bookmark your page in a brief time frame, the longer it stays highly visible to persons who are just surfing the bookmarking site for neat stuff. Hopefully, a few of those people will be interested enough about your site to go take a look.

Keep in mind, social media people can't stand spam. Do not title your page with something that looks "spammy". Rather use a title that explains what benefit any visitor will get when they go to your web page.

Just like any social media web page, the longer you spend on a bookmarking web site, the more comfortable with it you'll turn into, and the more approaches you'll learn to use it to promote your site.
