Skinny guys often wonder about how to grow muscles. You will find there are many regimes that exist with the skinny man in mind. It can be difficult however to find one that suits you, or even work up the motivation to give some a shot. Increasing the amount of fat you carry around while following these regimes can be an issue for you. Perhaps you doubt your ability to eat the amount of food suggested by certain of these programs. Maybe you simply do not believe that the weight gaining tips will actually work for you. Speaking as a fairly skinny fellow, my priority is to suggest a different type of skinny guy workout program.
First off, congratulations on being skinny. In a broad sense, skinny people suffer from far fewer medical issues than heavier ones, with the exception of eating disorder problems. I won't go as far to say it's easier to gain muscle than it is to lose fat as either takes hard work and time. Let me tell you about a well-known skinny guy workout regimen meant to help you gain substantial muscle, and then I will describe a different plan I believe is a more effective way how to grow muscles.
No-Nonsense Muscle Building is an extremely popular skinny guy workout program. Known as "Skinny Vinny", the program's originator, Vince Delmonte, was a stereotypical skinny guy of 150 pounds, who ultimately added another 40 pounds and grew into a famous fitness model. His addition of mass continued until he reached 210 pounds, with only 10 percent fat content.
So if you were wondering if it's possible, this guy proves to you that it is. Vince Delmonte's online site includes descriptions of the accomplishments attained by many other skinny guys. However, the weight gaining tips that he proposes just aren't right for me. Though the exercises intended to help build muscle are superior to those found in a majority of other programs, I cannot recommend a large amount of the included dietary advice. For starters, the number of recommended daily calories is through the roof.in excess of 5,000 calories for a 200lb individual. There is no doubt you will bulk up, but how much of it will be fat.
Although in his defense this approach is a popular method to use when bulking up, you put on fat first then you work on your muscle. See how you react when your clothes become tight. You will be overweight for at least several months. You will actually have to buy new clothes that you can wear during this stage because you will put on that much weight. After gaining 20 pounds, I was not more attractive, and I was quite lethargic.
This is not to say the program could not work for you, it may be just what you are looking for, for me however it didn't quite fit with my aims. In essence, this will help you get the big and bulky look where as I prefer the lean and muscular look. Which means I needed to find a different regime to follow.
Somebody called 'Rusty Moore' created a regime called 'Visual Impact Muscle Building' His is not a regimen intended to add 50 pounds to your frame. This is designed to help you strategically add 10lbs of lean muscle. You may think this doesn't sound like much, but for a first timer this is the amount you can seriously think about putting on in muscle within the first several months anyway. Even bodybuilders on steroids are lucky to add 15lbs in a year. Take it from me, if you gain 10 pounds of muscle strategically, you will appear twice as large as before, but your clothing will still fit.
This regime is created to give you the movie star look. This regimen is not meant to give you large, bloated muscles, it is meant to help you develop sculpted musculature seen on popular models. If you have seen the 'Twilight' films then imagine getting as toned as Taylor Lautner did between the first films. A three-stage formula comprises the Visual Impact system, and it is meant to grow muscle size and then work on muscle density. Substantial increases in caloric intake are not part of the Visual Impact system.
For any skinny people looking for weight gaining tips the best thing is to avoid any programs that recommend boosting your calorie intake too much. What you need is a regime that will slowly but surely increase your muscle mass but not make you look massive. The bodybuilder look might be something you aspire too, however this is not right for somebody with your body type. Take a glance at some of the most famous media figures and you are likely to notice that females tend to gravitate toward a streamlined, movie star appearance. Skinny guy workout regimes are best when they aim to slowly add muscle instead of chucking on 50lbs of fat and then trying to cut it down and transform it into muscle.
