Your wedding is one of the most important events of your life. You've picked your trusted friends and relatives to be your groomsmen. Your best man, groomsmen and ushers are critical to making your wedding day go smoothly. They take care of seating guests, dancing with some of your single female guests, they take care of the bachelor party, and try to keep the groom from getting too nervous on his wedding day. These fine men are your saviors to your sanity on the biggest day of your life.

A proper thank you is in order. You need not spend a fortune on each groomsman gift. But you need to show your appreciation. Most grooms take care of this at the rehearsal dinner. That's the last time all the guys will be together before the wedding day. You don't want the added task of giving out groomsmen gifts on your wedding day. That day is yours. Take care of the groomsmen gifts at the rehearsal dinner. You'll be glad you did.

Many grooms stress out over what to give their groomsmen. You want to give something where you won't feel like you wasted your money. You want to give a gift that each guy will actually use. No one wants to give a gift that will get tossed in the closet or garage.

Everyone drinks beverages on a daily basis. So, why not give a drink-related gift that can be used at home, at the office, or anywhere?

Drink related groomsmen gifts are as follows:

1. Sports mugs. 16 to 25 oz. sport mugs made of glass or ceramic come in handy. They are great for coffee, tea, ice water, sports drinks, beers or whatever. Every guy I know can get a lot of use out of a big mug. The bigger the better. A big mug does not need to keep getting refilled. You fill it one time and it lasts for hours.

2. Can holder. A can koozie as they are also called are popular with those that like to drink sodas or beers out of cans. You put the can in a koozie and then your hand doesn't get cold. Your drink will stay cold longer as it is also not getting warmed up by your hand and the surrounding air.

3. Flasks. An all-time favorite for groomsmen gifts. Flasks are ideal for weddings that do not host an open bar. The guys will all be able to have their drinks with them and not have to pay out any money for drinks. And a flask is usually something that would be given out before the bachelor party so everyone can have a little more stories to tell after that night of debauchery.

4. Pub signs and coasters. Those with a home bar will love getting a custom pub sign in a theme such as Irish, piano, football, baseball, golf, racing, something that fits their personalities. Matching coasters are available. Coasters save your furniture from damage from water rings.

Just don't forget to thank your groomsmen. The main point is that you don't need to spend $100 on each guy. You can spend as little as $15 to $40. Try to come up with a groomsman gift that you think each of your boys will enjoy and use for years to come.
