Most woman dream about ‘D-Day' from an early age and want it not only to be perfect, but be the absolute depiction of a romantic scene out of a fairy tale or romance novel and also create that loving, nurturing atmosphere.
This makes Beach Weddings the perfect opportunity to make all those dreams, and more, come true.
A Beach Wedding allows you to connect with your partner, family and friends on a deeper level, due to you being surrounded by awe inspiring nature. The soothing sound of the crashing waves. The sun's rays on your skin, as it set on the horizon. The cool sand between your toes.
It's a more casual affair, which allows people to be more down to earth and free to be themselves. Guests will enjoy themselves so much more and be more open to celebrating this blissful occasion with the newly weds.
It also allows for the most beautiful photograph opportunities. Ask any wedding photographer!
Not only is a Beach Wedding the ultimate wedding venue to set the mood, it's also a very cost effective way of celebrating the big day. Unfortunately having a budget for a wedding is a cold hard reality, however big or small, and let's face it… We all know weddings, in general, are not cheap. In today's economic climate it's a definite plus if you can have a more affordable wedding and one of the main factors to bear in mind when planning a wedding. It will relieve you of some of the most trying stresses couples normally face.
Beach Weddings allows you to be creative. Find ways to incorporate the natural surroundings in your décor and even the ceremony itself. You can even take it one step further by not only having the ceremony on the beach, but the reception as well.
Bear in mind, it can sometimes become a bit breezy on a beach, so perhaps find a spot that's a bit sheltered and have some small blankets on standby, in case for guests. A marquee tent is also very popular. If you don't fancy the traditional marquees there are wonderful alternatives like the Bedouin, Moroccan, Indian, Arabian or Bohemian Tents.
This also allows you to create a bit of a theme, if you're open to it.
If you have elderly guest attending the wedding, keep in mind that chairs tend to sink into the sand, so either create a platform of some kind for those chairs to stand on or use something with a bigger base or flat surface to seat guests. Alternatively you can use cushions, blankets, even carpets as seating for guests.
A Beach Wedding is the perfect start for newly weds. Romantic, Beautiful, Cost Effective, Fun and Memorable. The ultimate setting for the greatest day of your life!
