3D movies are taking over the movie theaters and smashing through box office records. Obviously, there is something highly appealing about the 3D experience to moviegoers and they seem to always want more of it. Unfortunately, they have yet to be able to take that 3D experience home with them to share with friends and family. Fortunately, some major television manufacturers have announced that they are planning on selling 3D televisions and disc players in the coming months. Samsung, for example, has just stated that its 3D television, called the Samsung C7000, will be out this year.

The technology used to create 3D visuals today is quite new, but the concept of 3D movies is not. People have been experimenting with 3D visuals for over one hundred years now. What most of us remember, though, is watching a 3D film while wearing paper glasses that had lenses of different colors. These glasses allowed us to make a 3D image out of a manipulated visual. Unfortunately, this technology needed to be improved upon because it had a tendency to cause headaches after certain periods of time.

Not only does this new television offer the incredible 2D to 3D they all will also be equipped with an Ethernet actually built into the television. This will allow its owners to access Internet television as well as specialized Samsung applications.

The technology that is used to make today's popular 3D movies is what's being used in the upcoming 3D televisions. This technology is called RealD and is produced by a company of the same name. Unlike the older 3D methods, it is not known to cause headaches. However, it does require you to wear special glasses that look exactly like sunglasses.

When it comes to picture quality, this new Samsung will not disappoint. The color is brilliant and life like, so much so that some of the images just seem to jump right off the screen at you.

Samsung is keeping most of the details about the C7000 quiet. However, some sources have leaked that it will feature a plasma screen and Internet connectivity via Ethernet and wireless. The television will also support Samsung Apps and the use of services from companies like Blockbuster, Pandora, and Netflix. It might even be able to take a 2D movie or television show and turn it into a 3D one.

The crystal clear images you receive are just a part of what makes viewing this television a joy. The black levels on this Samsung are of high quality and there is no problems distinguishing the different shades. This is due to the feature that is called Real Black Filter. Not only does this bring great black levels but it also helps to cut down on the glare on the screen.

Motion judder has always been a big concern with flat screens, but Samsung seems to have solved this problem with their Motion Judder Canceller. This feature works wonderful for all fast action television shows, movies and sporting events. Taking all the excessive judder there might be during fast paced shows. Making the viewing pleasure of this television much better.
