Come with usual 5 MP Camera with a resolution making Samsung S8500 resulting picture is very clear, sharp and vivid. when you activate the camera feature, on the top right hand phone screen show indicator of battery condition and the number of images that can be taken. When done shooting (pressing the shutter button), then the screen going dark at a moment. This is indicates an image is being stored. At the live view mode, menu photo can be highlighted by pressing the screen with a gentle manner. A menu will appear on the left and right side of the screen

Menu on the left side from top to bottom are as follows. The first is camera thumbnails which when pressed will move into the video capture mode. The next scene is a thumbnail function to replace the model scene, the third is the settings menu, to enter into the setting more information. On the left from the top down is as follows. The first is a thumbnail flash when pressed will turn off the flash and vice versa. Second is the automatic focus is useful to facilitate the taking crystal clear images and of course free of blur. The third is white balance thumbnail and the play back is the last thumbnail.

If we press the camera button thumbnails, it will go into the video menu. video menu have their own menu, it's just a little . the Samsung S8500 resulting video is clear because it is capable of taking video with HD formats. What is interesting when i'm taking a video then the screen will be show memory is being used in realtime. This will help us control the number of video taken.

To see the photo that was taken using a thumbnail playback. For move from one photo to another photo just enough to swipe the screen only. On the playback screen consist of some thumbnail. Thumbnail at the top and two bottom thumbnail. Thumbnails at the top. The first is the star thumbnail function for marking favourites in a photo, next thumbnail playback, next is a thumbnail photo information to display the information from being opened. The latter is a thumbnail photo with small picture. To delete an image you can press delete thumbnail on the bottom left.
