To get the satellite dish at good offer and price you might have shopped for it. the next step is to place the antenna dish on the mast but the bolts should not be tightened. next put coax cable through dish and then out to LNBF to connect cable. now both LNBF to satellite dish. remember not to tighten the bolts too much. Read your receiver manual on dish satellite installation to confirm the right skew and raising settings of the dish according to your locality. it would be easy to place the receiver accordingly if the neighbor too has the satellite dish.

now connect the coax cable to the meter and turn the television on for confirming the signals if the meter is not available if you. then turn the dish to the instructed direction given in the manuals for satellite dish installation and then check the meter until the satellite signal is being located or look at the neighbors dish. after getting the signals just bolt the dish. Horizontal adjustment can be great but you can adjust the vertical. Now have the dish reflector rotate freely.

Now it is time to determine the strong signal by moving the reflector up and down. now connect the coax by taking it from dish to receiver. Connect the receiver to the television then run the required test by the manufacture by reading the dish satellite installation manual.
