Is it a quick visit for you to Delhi? Even then,You can immerse yourself and experience first hand the diversity of India, North India.

Just do our golden triangle tour. This tour is a triangle of Delhi, Agra and Jaipur with an option to extend it to Bharatpur and Pushkar and to Udaipur as well.

. Agra is one of those exceptions apart from Kolkatta (British). Jaipur was the capital of a powerful Rajput kingdom.

Nevertheless, Delhi has managed to successfully woo the rulers of day, charm them with her virtues to make her the capital of their kingdom or region.

A circuit of about 800 to 1200 Kms,, this circuit will expose you to the modern Delhi, the old Delhi, medieval monuments, rural landscape, artisans, forts, museums, cultural programmes, camel rides, delicious food, both vegetarian and non-vegetarian.

At present Delhi has three world heritage monuments and a fourth one under consideration. These are Humayun's tomb, Qutub Minar, Redfort and Purana Qila..

However Delhi is much more than the monuments. It has temples, it has been and perhaps still is the sufi capital, a food capital, a cultural capital as well. In days of yore,

Delhi was called as the 22 Sufi saints city. Both intensely spiritual and religious, the commitment of Delhi people is very obvious to the religious and spiritual practicesit.
Some of the shrines to visit are: Nizamuddin, Kaki (behind Qutub Minar), Chirag, Matke wale.

Two temples in Delhi dedicated to Bhairon has offerings of liqour from the devotees.
Agra has Red Fort, Taj Mahal, Sikandara, Itmadullah's tomb as it's most famous buildings.

In Agra, beautiful marble inlay work is easily examined and if alluring, you can pamper yourself by a purchase of a gift for for friends.

Jaipur has many forts like Amber Fort (a delight to visit), Jai garh fort being the most important. It's markets are a shopper's delight. Jaipur's forte is textiles, leather shoes and ofcourse silver jewelery.

Ideally we suggest you torent a car and chauffeur. Not very expensive, it allows you a flexibility of being picked up from the airport or railway station or from anywhere in Delhi and dropped again anywhere.

This has another advantage. On the road to Jaipur from Agra, you get the opportunity to visit Fatehpur Sikri, a wonderful edifice. Fatehpur Sikri has the shrine of the sufi saint Salim Chisti, at whose feet the mighty Akbar (who is buried in Sikandara) fell, requesting for the blessing of an an heir, which he obtained.

This palace was hence constructed by Akbar in the honour of Salim Chisti.

Sikri eventually lost out due to paucity of water.

Renting a car & driver: This can work cheaper especially if you are more than one person,. iIf you add all the applicable charges of getting tickets, local transportation, delayed arrivals / departures.

We advise you commence your trip from Delhi.

In terms of hotels, there is a huge choice. From cheap bed and breakfasts to star hotels.
