The first goal of the Hawaii tea farm owners is to make Hawaii into a tea producing state in the USA.

The cultivating of the tea production artistically done by hand. This lends the Hawaiian tea a great quality.

Up until now tea was only an idea or trial and error on tea farms on the Hawaiian Islands.

The ecosystem and the soil of the islands actually contribute nicely to these tea leaves of an exceptional quality. The tea plant (Camelia sinensis) was brought back in 2001 in Hawaii, so is still considered in an trial state.

For example, the altitude at which the tea are grown is approximately 6,000 feet which offers the opportunity and the chance to grow organic tea. At such high elevations insects that could affect the tea plant not a worry, so pesticides are really rendered useless anyways.
