Should you find your route crossing Colombia's Caribbean Coast and are looking forsomewhere to stay; then the Divanga Hostel is a worthy candidate for any backpacker or traveler.
Self described as "a corner of serenity, an oasis in the heart of Taganga", we certainly do not agrue. The area and serenity if the Divanga hostel really is something you need to experience for yourself.
Let your troubles go when you enter the amazing atmosphere of the hostel Just and unwind while surrounded by the incredible beauty
As predicted the facilities and amenities of the hostel are top notch, on par with most hotels; with dozens of incredible actives nearby.
The staff is very polite and friendly to everyone who visits. They will make sure that all guests enjoy their stay at the hostel. The management also run another hostel in the village which is slightly cheaper but basically exactly the same facilities. At Casa Divanga you are given the choice of a private room or a shared room with others.
The wide range of accommodations and amenities really makes the hostel a great pick for visitors. Regardless of price, tourists will be able to feel at home at the hostel.
The hostel is nestled in a very central area of Santa Marta Colombia. There is plenty of tourism and visitor info available for anyone staying at the hostel. Thanks to the tourism info center the local tourism industry has grown rapidly
Recently the small village of Taganga has received some impressive improvements. As a result the village is now more accessible and more friendly to tourists. Nevertheless, Taganga has managed to keep all of its appeal and beauty and many travelers have preference for Taganga over everywhere else in the Santa Marta area. Thanks to the appeal and allure many visitors find it quite difficult to leave. This maybe does not come as a surprise when you rememberhow much there is to see and do in the village.
There are lots of diving areas here also, which usually bring you to a spot off the small island 'Aguja' which is part of the Tayrona national park - a popular area for scuba divers and explorers alike. Hikers and trekkers also commonly visit the area. If you take a walk north of the town to Playa Grande or further to Bonito Gordo and Bahia Concha you will find some postcard-perfect beaches, great for a way to soak up the warm sun or cool off in the water.
No matter which hostel you decide to visit you will be guaranteed a relaxing and fun environment. It is worth the time just to see the beauty, and you might as well stay for a while too.
